The practice app

Practicing needs no account and no sign-up. Your progress — spoken cards, saved topics, notes and settings — is kept only in your own browser (localStorage) on this device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Suggesting a topic

If you use “suggest a topic”, we collect the topic text, a source link, a category, your email, and — only if you opt in — a display name.

• Why: to review the suggestion and to email you whether it was published or not. If you opt in, your display name appears on the public contributors wall.
• Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)): your consent, given by the checkbox on the form.
• Where it goes: the suggestion is stored as an issue in our private GitHub repository; the notification email is sent via Resend. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else, and we use it for no other purpose.
• Retention: kept only as long as needed to handle the suggestion; ask us and we will delete it sooner.

Your rights

You can withdraw consent and ask for access, correction or erasure of your data at any time by emailing damummyphus@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
